6LDA is proud to announce its first ‘members day’ at Bo’ness on Saturday 16March 2013, which will feature a fantastic 120 mile day of Class 26 haulage – subject to the usual caveats…

All trains will run-round at Manuel Junction, calling at Birkhill for those wishing to alight for photographs. After the 12.17 arrival back at Bo’ness there will be time for a short break prior to the 13.00 departure. Please note: NO therms all day – wrap up warm.

Tickets:

  • 6LDA shareholders: £7.00.
  • SRPS members: £10.00. Public fare: £14.00.
  • We are willing to sell tickets for a single trip – the minimum price will be £7.00

Getting there, getting back:

The number 45 or number 46 bus runs from Linlithgow Cross (turn left out of Linlithgow station, the bus stop is located in the High Street) to Bo’ness bus station (opposite the railway line, and a few minutes walk from the railway station). Times from Linlithgow Cross are at xx.15 and xx.45 past the hour, with a 20 minute journey time, so you need to be on the 09.15 from Linlithgow Cross at the latest to connect with the 10.00 departure.
